Parr, St Peter's. M.I.s
The Monumental Inscriptions at St Peter’s Parr were recorded about 1980 and deposited in the Local History & Archives office on loose leaf papers together with a “new” rough sketch of the layout of the graveyard. This was used as the basis of the monumental inscriptions element of this project with a great deal of checking of dates and names on gravestones.
Additional information has been added where found, hence dates will be found up to and including 2006 in the grave book information section. Every effort was made to ensure that the recordings were accurately made but some errors are inevitable in work of this kind. Accordingly where possible the inscriptions should be checked against the original stone.
