This Index which is in two parts – Part 1 by Surname of the Groom and Part 2 by Surname of the Bride – lists over 19000 marriages which were solemnised at St.Peters Church, Church Street, Liverpool between January 1800 and June 1837.
The Registers covering this period are held at the Liverpool Record Office in the Central Library, William Brown Street under the Reference - 283 PET 3/5 to 3/21 - and were first transcribed by hand then entered onto computer to prepare the Index’s.
