Refund Policy

 

In accordance with EU Law you have a statutory ‘cooling off’ period of seven business days from the day you place your order or the day you receive your goods (whichever is the longer), in which time you should notify us that you wish to cancel your contract with us and a full refund will be given, excluding the postage element of the original cost. Simply return the unwanted items to Liverpool & South West Lancs. Family History Society, c/o. Pro-Tem. Publications Officer, 14 Bury Road, Southport, Merseyside, PR8 4EP, United Kingdom. in an unused condition, in their original packaging with any labels attached, together with a copy of your invoice and a covering letter explaining your requirements. If you do have a need to contact us by telephone, the number is available on request. Please email in the first instance giving details of your requirements.

Faulty, incorrect or defective goods will be refunded / replaced on receipt back into our premises within 14 days after advising us of your intentions. If you are returning faulty goods, please return them in a clean condition as we are unable to accept any soiled goods. Please send a copy of your invoice and a covering letter explaining the defect. We cannot accept returns of digital products such as CDs, DVDs, or computer software where any seals and/or shrink-wrap have been unsealed or broken, unless the product is incorrect, faulty or defective.

We cannot refund requests for membership.

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait
